Opening for The Almost and Ivoryline

I remember it was my senior year of high school. I was riding in a jeep along the beach on a rainy day between the cliffs of Ireland and listening to Underoath's "Some will seek forgiveness, other escape" (I was actually there and I hope it makes me sound pretentious). They were the soundtrack to my highschool days and "They're only chasing safety" remains to be one of my favorite albums of all time. I have been blessed with the opportunity to open up for Aaron Gillespie of UNDEROATH and THE ALMOST this Halloween night. I'll be sure to post more info when the date gets closer. Also supporting them is IVORYLINE. They have a great new record out yalls should check on Tooth and Nail records.

Much love!

Bagpipes in the worship set anyone?

I have been obsessed with bagpipes since I was a kid. I come from an Irish Catholic family from Boston and I have always loved the tradition. It became a whole new obsession when I saw Braveheart. I decided that there will be bagpipes at my wedding as well as my funeral. Then i went to a high school that had a bagpipe band, and as you can guess, my obsession grew even more. I listen to the theme song of Braveheart on a daily basis as I believe every man should. Ever since I became a worship leader it has always been in the back of my mind. As the church, we are called to be creative because we come from the first Creator. I am always excited to throw something into worship that makes it a bit different, something that is beautiful and creative to display and offer to our God. This past weekend at CCV I was able to call my buddy Tim who was actually on the Bagpipe team at the highschool I went to. He was excited and so was I. You can watch the worship set by clicking THIS link. Enjoy!!!

The Valley

This past sunday I was happy as can be to play with THE VALLEY at CCV on Sunday night. I miss playing with these guys(plus girl) a ton. We released the Valley record last October and it's crazy to see where God has taken all of us. Blaine has been working with various artists and playing guitar, James is the worship pastor for a new church in the OC, Chris Fink has been called to lead worship at a church in Vegas plus has a baby on the way, Lance is teaching away, Ashley is now the head worship leader at CCV, Matt's photography business has been taking off and is joining James in the OC, and lastly, the Bierman has taken up tons of opportunities in traveling, film, and photography. I have been blessed to work with these guys for years now. These nights we all get to play together are special moments in time. Glad my lady was there to take a snap of all of us together because I don't know when the next time will be.

As far as The Valley goes, it will change, it will evolve, but it will not go away. With all of that said, more details to come.

WELCOME to the new website/blog

If the bright yellow sign hasn't spoken loud enough, I'm Jeremiah. Nice to meet you if we haven't yet. Feel free to take a look around the page. The title tells of the truth. I am working on a new record that will be out this winter titled "The Mouths of Lions"......and my name is Jeremiah. Named after my great plus great irish grandpops who shined shoes during the Gangs of New York era when he came over here in the 1840's. This is a place I will be posting news on the record, thoughts, attempts at funny pictures, and discussion questions. I am never happier than when I am in the process of recording an album. So I'm excited for this season of my life and to see what God is gonna do. Also, excited about all of you being a part of this and posting your thoughts, ideas, and responses. ALSO excited about the frosty I am going to eat before bed. mmmmmmmm
